The frame on this nice girls bike is sturdy. The training wheels sit even and all was easy to assumble. The basket which looks flimsy is really sturdy enough to hold a small doll. So your little girl can always bring a little one of her friends along. The basket can also be just that a basket, which can hold all your little girls most special belongings while she's riding.

Bought bicycle twice from Amazon. First purchase resulted in shipping of a mangled box with broken pieces. The box looked like it went around the earth about 5 times,... by land and sea. Amazon was incredible in dealing with the refund, however, as they advanced a refund prior to receiving the returned bicycle so I can purchase another bicycle in time for my daughter's birthday. Despite bad shipping experience the first time, we decided to order the same bicycle again because it's so fricken cute and the price is right. The second time the shipping was better, but there was still a small tear in the seat. This time it wasn't worth dealing with another return, so I fixed it with clear tape. Some things are better bought at a store. BTW the bicycle is OK, but the training wheels sound really cheap and plasticky, and one set of the Cinderella doll carriage wheels don't turn once installed. Well, my daughter loves it, so the little issues don't mean anything now.

We got this for our daughter for Christmas and she adores it! She is tall for her age, so she fits on it and will definitely grow into it when we take off the training wheels. Such a beautiful, well-made bike. Love that it's blue and not pink like every other little girls' bike out there. My daughter loves that she can put a doll or stuffed animal for a ride with her in the little carrier, too!
