By TrixieTruffle
My daughter who just turned 4 picked this bike out online about a month ago. I was looking for a 14" bike so when we take the training wheels off she'll be able to still ride it without it being too big for her like my son who's 16" bike is only now rideable at age 5 1/2. (I guess he's just on the short side!). It arrived the next day and really took only 20 minutes to put together unlike some of the other bikes I've read about. We've had no problems with it and she loves it. My only issue would be that it doesn't come with any reflecters.

I bought 2 of these for my 2 girls (ages 3 and 4) because the 16" ones were a bit awkward on the upper body and the grips a bit too large for my girls.
This 14" is perfect size for them.
I got them both yesterday and are both assembled.... now here's what I expreienced:
Bike 1:
Appeared to have been opened but then repackaged and returned.
The flares were in an enclosed bag but was scratched up and had no sticky plastic layer/prtective sheet.
Assembly was easy but the instruction for installing the handle bar was confusing because the entire instruction is based on all sizes except the 14". Actually the 14" is never even mentioned in the instructions. The handle bar assembply was a bit confusing because depending on the size the instructions were different. I ended up ditching it and just figuring it out on my own. (it really isn't that hard since it was what I'm assuming to be the "pre-assembled" handle bar.
Rear tire was FLAT!!!! but strangely the Front tires were okay.
Install Time: Approximately 15 minutes.
Bike 2:
Now that I have installed one exactly the same (bike 1) I was confidant that this would be done quicker.... but boy was I wrong.
Front tire could not be installed as easy because the forks were to narrow. So I ended up asking my husband for help. He couldn't install it right away either and he actually has custom BMX bikes that he put together and maintains so he isn't a newbie when it comes to bikes. He ended up using a vice grip to open up the fork by putting the vice grip inside and opening it to stretch open the forks. After that the installation was piece of cake.
Both Front and Rear tires were flat GRRRRR!!!
Installation Time was approximately 30 minutes.
We haven't had time to put air in any of the flat tires to see if there's a leak or not so I will update on that later if it turns out to be leaking.
UPDATE: 6-27-12
We put air in all flat tires and have not yet ntoiced any leaks.
Chain on Bike 2 was way too tight so hubby had to move the rear tire to alleviate the issue
Con: Handle bar grips are too wide so hubby will be cutting the eds to make them smallar.
Other than that the bikes were fine... so far. Our girls haven't had a test run yet because they won't be getting it until today (my littlest's birthday is today).
Oh and one other strange thing was that the tags that the bike came with all said... Toys-R-Us Exclusive... which obviously isn't true.

By Phil K
This bike is just awesome! It's sturdy, I mean sturdy! I've bought a lot of bikes over the years, but this bike is well made. Dynacraft did a awesome job. The colors and the paint job on this is so good. I would highly recommend Dynacraft bikes.
